We wish to invite your attention to the directives of Reserve Bank of India in the following matters :

1. “Know Your Customer (KYC) Norms and Obligations under PMLA 2002 :
It is mandatory for banks to obtain below mentioned KYC documents for opening of new Accounts and periodically update records of the customers with the latest information relating to their identity proof and address proof, e-mail ID, telephone number etc. Hence, we request our account holders to submit required documents alongwith KYC Updation Form at the Branch where they maintain account.

The List of KYC Documents :
For Saving / Term Deposit Account Opening .

A) For Photo Identity – Any one of the following.
● PAN Card.
● Aadhaar Card.
● Driving Licence.
● Election Card.
● ID Card from Educational Institute/ Reputed companies.

B) For address proof – Any one of the following.
● Ration Card.
● Copy of Landline telephone bill, not more than 2 months old (not Mobile Bill)
● Electricity Bill (Not more than 2 months old)
● Latest society maintenance Bill
● Leave & Licence Agreement (Registered)
● Copy of Agreement for Purchase of premises.
● Bank attested account statement / Passbook specifying new address.

For Business Account Opening In addition to A & B above.

Any two of the following Business proof documents required.
● Sales Tax Registration.
● Professional Tax Registration.
● Shop and Establishment License.
● Excise and Custom Registration.
● Import / Export Code Number.
● Firm’s PAN Card.
● IT Return File of the firm duly acknowledged.
● Membership of the other Organizations, like Manufacturer’s Organization, Builder’s Organization, Textile producer’s Organization or The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, etc.

We request all the esteemed customers of our bank to contact their branch immediately to submit their KYC details and requisition for issuance of ‘CTS -2010’ Standard Cheques and surrender the existing Non-CTS Cheques for cancellation.
